A week ago, on his social media, the fighter updated his followers that camp for his June 1 title fight against Beterbiev had begun. Now, Fight Hub TV, on their YouTube Shorts uploaded a snippet from Bivol’s camp. In it, the Russian can be seen doing some high-intensity training routines. He employed a weight ball and resistance bands in his workout, which he powered through without batting an eye.

The video gives an insight into how vehemently the fighter chases the undisputed title, which he could have had earlier if his record was not paused back in 2022. After he defeated Canelo Alvarez that year, he was not allowed to undertake any fight as the WBC placed sanctions on all Russian fighters in light of the country’s invasion of Ukraine.

However, last year in December. on the ‘Day of Reckoning’ Saudi Card, he resumed his in-ring career by defeating the English fighter, Lyndon Arthur. The on-points victory also brought Bivol the IBO belt under his name. Next, come the summers, he will fight Beterbiev, a fighter who has won all the 20 fights of his career through knockouts. Will the training he’s undertaking be enough to defeat the knockout machine? What do the fans think?
