Recently, Bivol was questioned about his views regarding the environment surrounding the build-up to the match.

The interviewer asked, “People who know boxing have watched Dmitry Bivol and know how good he is. Know this is, has the potential to be a very tough fight for Canelo. But do you still feel that you are being overlooked?”

After hearing the query of the interviewer, Bivol gave a tranquil reply to the question. The Russian said,“ I don’t think about it. I just think about only my fight and it doesn’t matter which plans he has, which plans we… have after fight. Now for me only I have one plan, and this is plan on the fight on May 7.”

Bivol’s answer indicated that he doesn’t focus on others’ perceptions. Meanwhile, his only concentration is on his fight against Canelo Alvarez on May 7.
