The boxing fraternity will witness the clash between Dmitry Bivol and Canelo Alvarez on May 7. As the fight is coming close to the date, the hype is significantly rising amongst the spectators. Recently, Bivol was questioned about his views regarding the environment surrounding the build-up to the match.

Alvarez is a superstar, and thus he is getting more limelight than Bivol. The interviewer from Matchroom boxing questioned Bivol about his views on getting overshadowed for his upcoming bout. The interviewer asked, “People who know boxing have watched Dmitry Bivol and know how good he is. Know this is, has the potential to be a very tough fight for Canelo. But do you still feel that you are being overlooked?”

After hearing the query of the interviewer, Bivol gave a tranquil reply to the question. The Russian said,“ I don’t think about it. I just think about only my fight and it doesn’t matter which plans he has, which plans we… have after fight. Now for me only I have one plan, and this is plan on the fight on May 7.”

Bivol’s answer indicated that he doesn’t focus on others’ perceptions. Meanwhile, his only concentration is on his fight against Canelo Alvarez on May 7.
