Everybody is suing Ryan Garcia! After Logan Paul and Devin Haney, Jordan Plant seems to be the latest antagonist in Garcia’s life. At least, that’s what he said! The Victorville native was handed a year long ban by the NYSAC for testing positive for banned substances during the Haney fight. But folks, that’s not all!
He had to pay his contract purse of $1.2 million back to Golden Boy Promotions, and to top it all off, a $10K fine to the NYSAC. Not to mention, even Haney sued him for damaging his image and causing him to get a low purse bid. And now, Caleb Plant‘s wife Jordan is suing him for defamation while boxing trainer BJ Flores warned Garcia for verbally attacking Jordan.

‘King Ry’ hopped on X earlier today, claiming, “I understand that Jordan plant is suing me”, and revealed even he is filing a lawsuit against Caleb Plant for assaulting him. It’s worth mentioning that Garcia and Plant have gotten into an online spat over Garcia’s doping test, which led to Plant throwing a bottle of beer at Garcia during the Gervonta Davis vs. Frank Martin fight in Las Vegas.
Ryan don’t want ZERO problems with Caleb 100%.
Disrespecting grown man’s wives is not it.— BJ FLORES (@bjfloresboxing) July 1, 2024
Following this incident, the Victorville native started insulting Plant and his wife on X. Regardless, Garcia added, “You have to prove [that] I defamed you and cost you money”, suggesting he actually made her more famous. While there haven’t been any statements from Caleb or Jordan about the lawsuit, professional boxing trainer BJ Flores shared his two cents on the matter.
In a tweet responding to Garcia, Flores wrote, “Ryan don’t want ZERO problems with Caleb 100%. Disrespecting grown man’s wives is not it”. However, this, of course, wasn’t the only time Garcia had targeted a boxer’s family member on social media.

After George Kambosos Jr. suffered a crossing loss to Vasyl Lomachenko earlier this year, Garcia turned to social media to insult the Australian former unified champion. In response to this, Kambosos Jr. roped in Garcia’s positive doping tests against Devin Haney. So, the Victorville native escalated things further by claiming he had sexual relations with Kambosos Jr.’s wife Bec Pereira. This, as one would expect, pushed the Australian over the edge, as he wrote lewd comments about Garcia’s mother.

This seems to have forced Garcia to come out and clarify that he was just messing around. However, Kambosos wasn’t going to have any of it—he wrote in a tweet, “You say you’re a man of god, but you act like the devil!! You parade the lord but we all see through your s**t, you’re the devil in disguise. On a Sunday too. Joke? F**k you. Like I said, I ever see you, it’s on. IDGAF, backtracking as a joke now, naaa. Me and you. Happy Mother’s Day”.
With that said, Ryan Garcia seems to be digging a deeper and deeper hole for himself. It’s pretty clear he can’t stay off of the internet, which ironically is the cause of all his problems. At this point, this is not an act or tactics to promote his fights, it’s simply a cry for help. What do you think? Why is Ryan Garcia adamant about running his career?
