Just a couple of hours ago the whole boxing world witnessed the long awaited fight between David Benavidez and Caleb Plant. The fight ended as a lot of people had previously predicted before, with Benavidez’s victory. But the excitement wasn’t just for the main card, undercard also included some fun matchups that fans were looking forward to. The fight between Chris Colbert and Jose Valenzuela was filled with surprises as well. Although it was not necessarily the kind of surprise fans were looking for.
The whole boxing world is in shock that even after knocking down Colbert with a big left hook in the first round of the match, Valenzuela still ended up losing the fight. What was even more shocking was that he lost through a unanimous decision. Valenzuela shared his disagreement with his loss and asked for a rematch to which Colbert agreed. However, Ex-Champion Adrien Broner shared his agreement with the result of the fight. Broner posted a video on his Instagram Story, In the video, he was showing his full support for Colbert.

Adrien Broner recently took to Instagram to share his support for Chris Colbert after he was announced as the winner of his fight against Jose Valenzuela. In a video posted on his story, Broner could be seen shouting with excitement, showing his full support for Colbert. He acknowledged that the fight was a close one. But he emphasized that Colbert outboxed Valenzuela and deserved the win. He said, “That’s right, you won n***a it was a close fight, but you edged it out. You outboxed that n***a”.
Broner also had some advice for Colbert in case he faces Valenzuela again, encouraging him to “box him from the beginning”.
He further emphasized Colbert’s victory, stating, “the judges thought you won, and you won, unanimous decision, split this d**k, you won that (with) unanimous decision”. Overall, Broner’s words showed his enthusiasm for Colbert’s victory and his willingness to support his fellow boxers.
