YouTuber turned boxing sensation, Jake Paul, is gearing up for the fight he has been long yearning for. He will fight his longtime nemesis, Tommy Fury, at the Diriyah Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on February 26, 2023. Paul had his doubts about the fight happening, especially after it failed to take place in 2021 and 2022. But the fight announcement has gotten both the boxing fraternity and Paul himself excited. Additionally, it looks like WBC’s latest announcement has given Paul more reasons to win the fight.
WBC statement: "If Jake Paul wins vs Tommy Fury, the WBC will rank him in the cruiserweight division. Jake Paul has been close to the WBC for several years… The WBC will not tolerate discrimination against anyone, he deserves the opportunities that any other boxer has."
