Tyson retired from boxing in 2005 but Holyfield in 2011. Two years ago, Tyson made a comeback to boxing in an exhibition with Roy Jones Jr. billed as Lockdown Knockdown. Lately, Tyson was diagnosed with sciatica and is not in a position to take part in a fight. Two weeks back, TMZ had an encounter with Holyfield and enquired the same question.
In one sentence, Holyfield replied saying, “It’s too late. I’m done now.” In his boxing career, Holyfield had a record of 44 wins and 10 losses. On the other hand, Mike Tyson held the record of 50 wins and only 6 losses. Should Mike Tyson vs. Evander Holyfield take place, it will nonetheless sell. However, looking at Holyfield’s statement, it seems the Tyson vs Holyfield III is far from coming to fruition.
