Probably, it may not have been the debut Paige VanZant had hoped for. For the UFC veteran with experience in bare-knuckle fights, the bout against OnlyFans model and TikToker, Elle Brooke might have come as a rude awakening. Her pro-boxing match at the Misfits Boxing: X Series 15 ended in a split decision draw. ’12 Gauge’ proved her toughness and experience in taking the fight the whole distance. But the final outcome against an opponent, who, in her own words, didn’t know “what a jab was two years ago,” may not have been something many would have expected from a veteran of 13 mixed martial arts fights. It could provide ammo to some of her detractors. Dillon Danis certainly doesn’t seem to have missed. Especially the footage that featured Brooke knocking down VanZant appears to have given him the right leverage.

The Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt himself made his professional boxing debut last October. But the bout against Logan Paul ended up in the most bizarre manner, with ‘Double D’ finally facing disqualification. But why take a dig at a crossover bout? Per available reports, the New Jersey-born grappler seems to be engaged in an online spat with Paige VanZant. So the foe receiving a battering could be the plausible reason behind the tweet.

Dillon Danis on to the Next Virtual War

““Real fighter” dropped by a p*rn star,” wrote Dillon Danis. The ten-second-long clip shows Elle Brooke throwing a straight right that made a neat connect with Paige VanZant’s face. The impact of the punch forced the American boxer to take a knee and face the referee’s count. Thankfully, ’12 Gauge’ got up on time and continued.

Of course, some fans didn’t spare ‘Double D’. Laughing out loud, one of the users checked, “She did 1000x better than you did against Logan Paul, lol.” Then another one highlighted how it was a YouTuber-turned-boxer-turned-pro wrestler, i.e., Logan Paul, who startled Danis during the match last year.

But what forced ‘El Jefe’ to troll Paige VanZant? Most fans might remember how, in the lead-up to his boxing debut’, Danis stirred the pot by pulling in Nina Agdal’s name in one post after the other. Ultimately left with no choice, Logan Paul’s girlfriend filed a lawsuit against Dillon Danis.

Going Back to Where It Started

So feud between the two erupted following an interview ’12 Gauge’ gave to Misfits Boxing. The interviewer cited Dillon Danis’ example during the discussion about MMA fighters making a move to boxing. Smiling, Paige VanZant immediately shot back, “Dillon Danis is not a fighter. He is not a fair comparison.”

That was enough for the New Jersey grappler to launch a riposte. “How fast they forget! Haha, relax, Paigey baby. Just because I didn’t wife you doesn’t mean you have to be petty. Don’t make me bring up our two trips to Vegas and ruin your marriage.” Thus, a back-and-forth unfolded.

Paige VanZant refuted Danis’ claims in a subsequent video. “…Dillon, obviously, I said you’re not a ‘real fighter. My bad, I triggered you. I understand that hurt your feelings, but instead of coming back and just talking s*** about me saying I’m not a real fighter, what did you do?” She said.

In turn, the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt reportedly shot back with a detailed response refuting the allegations made against her while also humiliating Danis for even hinting at them ever having an affair. It remains to be seen how Paige VanZant comes back with his latest troll. But beef aside, the fact remains: as she revealed her intentions in ‘The MMA Hour’ about ‘starting all over’ in a new combat sport, she will have to ensure coming out strong with each upcoming fight. No one doubts her heart. But the skills might need much more to be proven.
