Michael Benson from talkSPORT, took to his Twitter to announce that the fine amount has finally been announced. Reportedly, Haney will be charged $25,000 for shoving Vasyl Lomachenko during their weigh-in. And this amount will be deducted from the money withheld by the commission.

Of the $400,000, the fine will be deducted, and the rest of the amount will be returned to the champion. This announcement comes exactly a month after the fight at the MGM Grand. Haney’s shove to the Ukrainian was not something the fans were expecting to see during their final face-off before the fight. And it did prove to be an expensive one for the champion.

The 24-year-old’s win was surrounded by controversies as a lot of boxing fans believe that ‘Loma’ was the better man on the fight night.
