The fight between two lightweight juggernauts is about to commence very soon. Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia is all set to occur on April 20. As the date of their fight itches closer and closer, the trash talk between the two reaches a new level every time they interact. The two will go at it for the WBC Super Lightweight title which is currently held by Haney. This fight is exactly what the boxing world wants, a bout between two big names with high stakes for both sides. But it seems Haney is not very keen on facing Garcia.

Haney took to X to write, “I’m not going to that press conference tomorrow..” which comes after the heated exchange between him and Garcia in the last face off in LA. Garcia came off arrogant as usual and was met with equal thrashing by Haney. ‘The Dream’ called out Garcia for allegedly being drunk. During the face off, Garcia tried to become more and more assertive with time while Haney seemingly kept his cool.

‘KingRy’ claimed that Floyd Mayweather had shown him the video of Gervonta Davis knocking out ‘The Dream’ during a sparring match. This prompted Mayweather to be called out by the latter’s father, Bill Haney. Haney said in the press conference, “It ain’t going to work Floyd. He should’ve showed the sparring video of him and Devin while he’s showing all those sparring videos. And it was 6-0, it wasn’t close.”
