In the wild and wacky world of professional boxing, alliances are formed as quickly as rivalries. In a surprising turn of events, rising superstar Devin Haney turned to X to express his support for an equally talented heavyweight. A while ago, reports came out that the authorities had arrested Jared Anderson in Oregon, Ohio, with charges related to improperly handling firearms in a vehicle.

However, the 16-0 heavyweight is making the headlines for a whole new reason today. With just more than a week from the debacle with the authorities, Anderson turned to X, with choice words for the people criticizing him. However, he wasn’t alone in his crusade to condemn the critics. Soon after his tweet went live, Devin ‘The Dream’ Haney joined the fray, supporting the recently released heavyweight.

Hopping on X, Anderson shared a clip of himself where he expressed his thoughts about Twitter. “Twitter gotta be the funniest app on this planet,” said the undefeated heavyweight. Anderson went on to suggest his experience with the people on the platform. “I ain’t seen so many grown men come to try to defend another grown man,” Jared said.

Soon afterward, Heney retweeted Jared’s clip, asking people not to meddle in someone else’s business. “Stay outta grown man bidness,” wrote Haney. The situation arose after Jared’s release after he spent more than eight hours in prison. With that out of the way, Tyson Fury recently declared Jared as the heir to the heavyweight throne.

Tyson Fury’s reputation in the heavyweight division has taken a slight hit lately because of his close battle with Francis Ngannou. However, he is still considered the ultimate man to beat. The lineal heavyweight champion is about to take on the Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk. Yet, Fury’s retirement date is approaching quickly, so he has named his heir to the throne in heavyweight.
