The Matchroom’s owner Eddie Hearn understands that calling back Devin Haney after the Vasyl Lomachenko win, would prove to be a bit strainful, financially. Haney has been backed by Hearn’s promotional banner for a decade before he hopped on to the deal with Top Rank last year, for the chance against George Kambosos Jr.

Hearn talked about re-signing Haney in a recent iFL TV interview where he stated how he’d love to have ‘The Dream’ on board, irrespective of his high price. Hearn said, “Devin’s very expensive. He always has been. He’s done a great job in that respect.” Then, he stated that he’d lure in the boxer with the interesting fights he’s got planned for him.
“I think if we go to Devin Haney now we’re going to him with the Regis Prograis fight,” Hearn stated. In addition, he also named other fights with Ryan Garcia, Shakur Stevenson, Teofimo Lopez, and many more.
Recently, boxing fans didn’t hold back as Haney threw some light on the potential Gervonta Davis fight. However, with the situation at hand, fans shared their opinions about this offer presented by the British promoter, Eddie Hearn.

While some fans started throwing out their predictions for the Prograis fight. One fan, Loma’s suppressed tears, stated that Haney will definitely win that bout.

On the other hand, David Jones had a different outlook as they believed Haney will have a hard time facing Prograis.

Another fan, Finesse_mob, stated that Haney would definitely be the toughest opponent of Prograis he’s faced.

Damian demanded that before the Prograis fight, he wants Haney in more title fights against boxers like Frank Martin or Arnold Barboza Jr.
