The sport of boxing is familiar is upsets. One such recent upset took place when Chris Eubank Jr. faced Liam Smith in their anticipated rematch. ‘The Next Gen,’ was an underdog going into the bout and it made sense why. Only in January, the two met one another in the ring and Smith knocked out the former champion in spectacular fashion. Not to mention, ‘The Beefy,’ made sure that the fight didn’t last long enough and defeated his rival inside four rounds.

Moreover, their rematch was a stark contrast to their first bout. This time around, Eubank Jr. showed up and outclassed Smith to fetch himself a victory in the tenth round. Needless to say, he proved his doubters wrong. One of his critics was none other than a legendary boxer who made sure to apologize to him in person. Who is this legendary boxer and why did he feel the need to apologize?
