Mike Tyson, boxing’s fearsome titan, is known for his daunting presence. But did you know his TV habits are a tad… submissive? While one might envision him binge-watching intense boxing documentaries or action-packed series, the reality is delightfully quirky. In a candid chat on Complex’s YouTube channel, Tyson and MMA powerhouse, Francis Ngannou, unpacked their favorite TV tales.

While Ngannou’s choices were predictably enthralling, Tyson’s revelation was very unexpected. It seems ‘Iron’ Mike might have met his match; not in the ring, but in the living room’s remote control duel.

Mike Tyson unveils: The power dynamics surrounding the remote control

In an era where unconventional friendships often take center stage, none is more compelling than the one between Mike Tyson and Francis Ngannou. As the world buzzes about Ngannou’s upcoming bout against Tyson Fury, ‘Iron Mike’ himself has stepped in to guide the MMA sensation, lending his decades of boxing prowess. However, it’s not just punches and jabs that these two share; they also bond over TV shows.

In the midst of discussing rigorous training routines and strategies for the Fury fight, a lighthearted moment emerged. “What’s your GOAT TV show?” Tyson playfully asked Ngannou. Without hesitation, Ngannou responded, “My GOAT TV show? Money Heist.” Appreciating the choice, Tyson remarked, “Money Heist, okay.” Ngannou, with evident passion, added, “That is like a masterpiece. I love that TV show.”

Now, while Ngannou’s choice might align with popular trends, Tyson’s TV preferences take a surprising twist. “Yo, what do I watch?” He pondered aloud. “All right, my wife watches, she causes me to watch Survival Series.” The MMA champ chimed in, “I love the survival series.” Tyson continued, “Naked and Afraid, The Household Wives we watch. Yeah, I have an array of shows that we watch that’s dictated by my wife. And I have no other choice but to watch, so those are the shows I watch.”

Clearly amused, Ngannou probed, “So which one do you prefer? Which one gets you more turned up?” To which Tyson candidly confessed, “I think it’s Forensic Files. I like that stuff when people get killed and murdered, and they find out, and they have people snitching on each other. I love that stuff.”
