The rivalry between Canelo Alvarez and Floyd Mayweather prolongs outside the realm of the squared circle. The two formidable combatants faced one another back in 2013. The fight was billed as,’ The One,’ and both boxers were undefeated at the time. However, one out of the two was bound to be defeated and it happened to Alvarez. The 33-year-old was handed his first-ever defeat via a unanimous decision. However, young Alvarez did not succumb to the defeat and continued his quest for greatness.

A decade later, Alvarez is not only one of the best pound-for-pound fighters but also one of the biggest personalities in the sport. One might argue that he is more than solely a boxer considering his business ventures. One such venture is that of Tequila. However, his rival, Mayweather has also dabbled his hand in the liquor business despite being a non-drinker himself.
