Moreover, the former heavyweight champion was even made an official member of the Inner Circle by Jerico moments after he knocked out Cash Wheeler for trying to strike Jericho with a baseball bat. Tyson will now appear on the November 4 episode of AEW Rampage serving as a special guest commentator for one night only marking his fifth appearance for the company.

Tyson has always been one to feature in pro wrestling promotions with his 1998 run with WWE being one of the most iconic moments of his career. However, the fans do not seem to be very excited to see Kid Dynamite in action as they reacted to this news.

Fans react as Mike Tyson set to appear in AEW

One fan hilariously stated that AEW should bring in the first man to beat Tyson in the boxing ring, Buster Douglas. “Should have a storyline with Buster Douglas.” He wrote.

Another fan was curious if he would get to see a match between Tyson and Jerico. “Are we finally getting that Jericho match that was promised almost 3 years ago?” he wrote.

However, one fan was furious that the news broke out before Tyson’s appearance, which, according to him, takes out the excitement. “Why do they tell people things? That’s why nothing is exciting.” He wrote.

One fan took shots at the company stating that they were desperate for ratings since CM Punk left. “Desperate for ratings now that they lost there mega star Cm Punk” He wrote.

Lastly, one fan claimed that putting Tyson on the show would certainly increase their ratings. However, it was sad for him to see AEW copying WWE’s tactics. “Rampage will get a spike in ratings being live and having Tyson on it. Sad they stealing sh*t WWE did like 200 plus years ago lmao.” He wrote.
