The Boxing World is waiting for an official confirmation about the Saudi deal. According to the rumored deal, Anthony Joshua will lock horns against the American Deontay Wilder in a heavyweight fight. Even though there has been no confirmation for the same yet, it seems like the fans are in for good news about the fight. Undoubtedly, the fights in Saudi Arabia will be sensational for the sport, which will see top heavyweight prospects locking horns against each other in one of the most awaited boxing events.

Recently, Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn gave an update about the rumored fight between Wilder and Joshua. And according to him, the deal is almost done for ‘The Bronze Bomber’.

The fight is a ‘done deal’ for Wilder

Michael Benson from talkSPORT, took to Twitter to share the update Hearn gave to the boxing fans. Hearn has not been very open about the rumored Saudi Arabia deal and even laughed at the rumored fights purses for the fights. But it seems like the deal can no longer be kept a secret.

According to the promoter, the Saudi’s deal with Wilder is almost done, and he is expecting the Saudis to make an offer to his team for Joshua as soon as this week. It seems like the fans will get to witness the clash between Wilder and Joshua. And it is safe to say that it will be a memorable fight for the sport of boxing. Joshua last fought in April, prevailing in his bout against Jermaine Franklin.

Many other heavyweights are also included in the mix for the Saudia Arabia deal. Notably, the undisputed clash between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury is also rumored to be targetted for the December showdown. However, there has been no confirmation of the fight between the two.

The Brit did not successfully redeem his titles against Oleksandr Usyk in a rematch. And, since then, the Brit has been eager to taste glory again. Joshua has been open about his desire to get his hands back on a heavyweight championship title.
