Deontay Wilder is one of those few boxers who keeps himself up to date with all the trends going on in the business and economic verticals. For many fans and boxing purists, Wilder is only an intimidating heavyweight. But when it comes to investments and more, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ is one of the smartest fighters around.

Recently, the ex-heavyweight king was in a conversation with Telli Swift. Here, he shed some light on future-proof investments and more.

“What I would invest in, hey, I’m already invested in something, some great collection. And it is,” said Wilder.

He continued, “I’m a couple of steps ahead and that’s NFTs. I got my own NFT company and I’m looking to put major platforms on my NFT.”

Many celebrities and bigwigs from various verticals are getting their hands on NFTs (Non-Fungible Token). A few months ago, YouTuber turned boxer, Logan Paul dropped $1 million on NFTs.

Wilder, too, is up to date with this trend, and he’s looking to invest smartly with his NFTs.

Wilder recently stepped inside the ring against Tyson Fury in a trilogy bout. Here, being the underdog, Wilder stole the show by dropping Fury twice. Although he couldn’t attain a win, Wilder still left the ring with tremendous respect.

Nobody expected Wilder to fare so well against ‘The Gypsy King’. But the Alabama native stuck to his plans, and he did what he was supposed to.

Post that fight, there were concerns regarding Wilder’s return to the ring, as many thought the hard hitter would retire.

However, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ will return to action by Spring 2022, and everyone will be keen to see what a polished Wilder does inside the squared circle.
