When asked about his prediction for the fight, Wilder maintained a diplomatic stance, expressing uncertainty about the eventual winner. According to him, any man could emerge victorious, and it all hinged on who would feel the best when the pivotal moment arrived.

Expressing his belief, Wilder highlighted the challenges he faced previously, where champions would evade potential matchups with him. He recounted instances where fighters like Joseph Parker chose alternative paths, bypassing potential unification fights with him. You know how many champions ran from me? Joseph Parker was one of them.” Wilder, now is set to go up against Parker in Riyadh on December 23rd.

However, Wilder sees the unified path as a game-changer, eliminating the need to chase different champions for bouts. He elaborated on the concept of being the undisputed heavyweight champion, expressing, ” I’m just excited for that (Fury vs. Usyk) because I finally get a point where the belts is going to be in one fighter’s hands and I will be fighting for that too. I will be fighting for unification”

Brian Custer, the host, reminisced with Wilder. “Deontay Wilder used to tell me all the time there needs to be one face, one name when it comes to being the Undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.” When asked if that is still his goal, Wilder emphatically affirmed, “That’s still my goal, brother.”

Deontay Wilder plans to face Anthony Joshua if they both win their upcoming matches. Joshua is set to fight Otto Wallin on the same day. Wilder is confident, saying, “That’s the plan.” He’s focused on his December 23rd match against Joseph Parker, but stressed the importance of both winning for a more exciting showdown.
