WBO middleweight champion, Demetrius Andrade, seems optimistic about defending his title against Liam Williams in their upcoming collision on April 17. Boasting an undefeated record of 29-0, Andrade successfully grabbed the belt in 2018 and already has three successful title defenses under his name.
So, he can rightfully appear as a favorite against Liam Williams, who is 23-2-1 in the professional run. However, that hasn’t belittled Williams’ confidence. Despite falling short on the resume, he has vowed to defeat Demetrius Andrade and has sparked some verbal venom. Surely, that hasn’t sat well with the champion. ‘Boo Boo’ connected with Fred Talks Fighting and reacted to William’s verbal banter.
As he flaunted his in-ring achievement and world title wins, Demetrius Andrade also hinted at unleashing a violent game within the ropes.

“You know, just going in there and putting a beating on him. You know he has been running his mouth a little disrespectful. I don’t understand why these guys can run their mouth to somebody like me when I am undefeated, I am a world champion numerous times. And these guys has got losses in their records, they got beat by people and sit there ad they run their mouth like they want to come and take what’s mine,” said the WBO titleholder.
Boxing has seen some major upsets happen in recent times, and Andrade cannot rule out his opponent’s abilities. He is on the brink of bagging the bigger fights of his career, and a loss can put a dent in those plans. So, the upcoming middleweight fight can allure the fans for all the right reasons.

Demetrius Andrade vs Liam Williams- Preview
The 12-round main event clash will bring a 6’10” southpaw in Andrade against a 5’10” orthodox boxer, Liam Williams. While both of them are hard-hitters, they have their significant chances of winning.
Akin to Andrade, Williams would have also been unbeaten if he didn’t suffer the back-to-back losses against Liam Smith. Despite those setbacks, he has regained his momentum with five wins on the trot and looks promising at this stage.
