WBO middleweight champion Demetrius Andrade has bigger plans for his upcoming bout. Already 29-0, ‘Boo Boo’ Andrade is undoubtedly one of the most reputed 160 pounders in today’s time.
Meanwhile, he had already chalked up to move up to 168 lbs and face Billy Joe Saunders, before sealing the fight against Liam Williams. That said, Andrade hasn’t ruled out his chances of moving up and appears comfortable in fighting at both the weight class- 160 lbs and 168 lbs.
Speaking with Brian Custer, Andrade opened up on his plans, sending several fans into a frenzy.

He said, “I was trying to put it and put it out there with Billy Joe Saunders right, that’s what I was trying to do this. My thing was Billy Joe Saunders. After fighting Billy Joe Saunders, beating him, I would have went back down and said, Charlo, Triple G, do you want to unify the 160 lbs division?”

The middleweight champion already appears interested in donning the super-middleweight titles. That said, he seems to hunt down the biggest challenges available at this stage.
‘Boo Boo’ said, “If not, I am gonna stay here at 168 and see who’s out, who wants to make something happen. So, those would have been my fights.”
However, his primary plan is to defend the WBO 160 lbs title against Liam Williams on April 17. After that, Andrade will figure out the best option for himself.
“I gotta beat Liam Williams and then see what’s next, what? Do I go up to 168 or do I try to make a unification bout at 160,” said Demetrius Andrade.
