In a few weeks from now, the WBO middleweight champion, Demetrius Andrade, will step inside the squared circle to take on his mandatory challenger, Liam Williams. This might prove to be his toughest test to date as Williams has a strong backing power and quality ring IQ.

You know just speaking facts because, at the end of the day, he’s not an elite fighter, an elite-level guy that people like to tune into. So I mean but for him to I don’t know to get whatever knockouts that’s cool, that’s fine, happens.”

Williams is a terrifying middleweight prospect with a track record of 23 wins and 2 losses. Since 2018, Williams hasn’t lost a fight and on top of that, he’s finished 7 opponents with T/KO. He has scary momentum on his side right now coupled with vast confidence to tackle the champion, Demetrius Andrade.

Despite all the given numbers above, the undefeated Andrade believes his adversary is not an ‘elite’ level contender.

Moving into this fight, Andrade will look to employ his experience against a resilient contender and defend his title hassle freely. ‘Boo Boo’ has defended his WBO title thrice until now. And on April 17, he will look to make it his fourth.
