And when the day of reckoning came, ‘Next Gen,’ putting his all into the fight, stunned everyone with an excellent performance. Outboxing Liam Smith, Chris Eubank Jr. paid him back in the same coin and won via technical knockout in the tenth round. Among the many who saw Eubank Jr. punish Smith stood Derek Chisora.

Then, he also spoke about Anthony Joshua’s future fights. Finally, it was time for him to speculate on the Eubank Jr.-Smith fight. Chisora said, “…if Eubank comes in with how he came in last time, it’s going to be a good night, but I think this time he’s well prepared…he doesn’t want to embarrass his new team.

So, after the eighth-minute mark, it was back to Derek Chisora, looking happy at Eubank Jr.’s success. Cassius asked, “Derek, what do you make of Chris Bank’s performance?” Chisora replied, “Unbelievable, beautiful, delicious…delicious, delicious, beautiful… yeah yeah… yeah yeah yeah… it’s delicious….” Then, one of the boxer’s acquaintances joined and mentioned, “…there’s more… (for Eubank Jr.), that was only four weeks preparation, there’s more…” When Chisora, sounding surprised, asked for the four weeks, the response from his friend came, “…yeah, with BoMac, there’s four weeks and more…

When asked for his views on the referee’s decision to stop the match in the tenth round, Derek Chisora, mentioning that Liam Smith was severely battered, concurred with the match official’s move. It was the day of the underdog. Chris Eubank Jr. finally turned the tables. The 33-year-old son of boxing great Chris Eubank suffered a significant setback on January 21 when Liam Smith defeated him with a fourth-round technical knockout.
