Devin Haney has been inviting the anger of the boxing community ever since the recent update. A few days ago, Haney filed a lawsuit against Ryan Garcia alleging that he is guilty of battery, fraud, and breach of contract pertaining to their fight in April this year. “At no time did Devin Haney consent to engage in a bout against a boxer who was positive for a performance-enhancing drug, performance enhancing-procedure or masking agent and would not have proceeded with the bout had he known,” Haney’s attorney Pat English stated in the lawsuit.

What makes the lawsuit shocking is that Ryan Garcia has already been punished by the NYSAC after being found guilty of consumption of a banned substance Ostarine. However, suing Garcia for “battery”, over a sanctioned bout in the squared circle has astonished many in the boxing community. But that’s not the only reason Devin Haney is at the receiving end of criticism at the moment.

His past association with disgraced music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has also been used by some, including Garcia, to take digs at him. For those uninitiated, ‘Diddy’ has now been arrested and is in federal custody for s** trafficking and racketeering. Ever since the poolside picture of a shirtless Devin Haney alongside P Diddy, was used by Garcia to slam his opponent, ‘The Dream’ has been on the receiving end of an onslaught of ‘Diddy’ jokes.

Now, jumping on the trend, YouTuber and influencer boxing star Nurideen Shabazz aka DeenTheGreat attempted to troll Devin Haney in a recent video. In a video titled, “How Devin Haney train after linking with diddy”, DeenTheGreat can be seen in the boxing gym impersonating Haney, clearly distracted, and texting — insinuating a romantic relationship between Haney and Diddy.

In other instances in the video, Deen The Great can be seen kissing the speed bag and hitting the mitts in a not-so-manly way. Notably, Haney has admitted on an episode of 4HUNNID podcast that he has attended the infamous Sean Combs parties. However, safe to say, that there is no shred of evidence of evidence out there to hint at any kind of romantic relationship between them.

Nevertheless, DeenTheGreat’s attempt to mock Devin Haney has backfired as fans made fun of his boxing pedigree. So, let’s delve into the comment section on how DeenTheGreat was brutally slammed for his trolling of the former undisputed lightweight champion.

Stick to YouTube boxing?

One fan approved of DeenTheGreat’s “gurlie” impression. They wrote, “Lmao🤣🤣🤣🤣gurlie mode activated.” However, the big question now is: would Devin Haney sue DeenThe Great for the video?

Meanwhile, another fan was disgusted by the way that DeenTheGreat was kissing the speed bag. They wrote, “Bro you can’t be kissing the speed bag like that.” The entire video is indeed a bit cringy!

This user, echoing the same sentiment, didn’t like the YouTuber trolling Haney who has far superior boxing skills than him. They wrote, “You want Devin to notice you so bad it’s cringe. Stay on that YouTube boxing side.” Notably, Nurideen Shabazz has done quite well in influencer boxing. He is currently undefeated in five fights and has three knockouts under his belt. However, he has had only one professional fight.

One fan commented, “Finally you’ve got a good talent, trolling Haney.” Now this comment might also be taken as a dig at his boxing skills. It is quite an open-ended statement. Another fan commented that the boxing community has their foot on Devin Haney’s neck. They remarked, “We own that Diddy fanboy.”

Well, it would be great to see Devin Haney’s response to this. However, DeenTheGreat’s effort to jump on the Devin Haney hate trend has been shown the red flag by the boxing community.
