The fight could have concluded in the first round itself, but the veteran regained a vertical base after facing the heat of Coe’s hands.
During the fight, Tadd had his moments, but it wasn’t enough for him to secure a win. Moreover, Khalil Coe made the most out of the former’s weaknesses and battered him with slick punches throughout.

As the fight began, the New Jersey native adopted an aggressive fight style while moving forward with his shots. He targeted Tadd’s body and demolished him with exuberant body strikes. But in between, the young gun did face adversity.

Now with a thrilling win under his wing, Coe will be open to taking on fighters like Badou Jack or Lyndon Arthur. The debutant still has a long way to go if he is to make a name for himself in the light heavyweight division.
