In an interview, the EVP of DAZN discussed the top stars of the platform and the number 1 rankings on their platform for different countries.

In an interview with Ariel Helwani, executive vice president of DAZN, Joe Markowski discussed the biggest stars of the streaming platform. During the interview, Helwani asked if Canelo Alvarez is the biggest draw for the platform, To which the EVP responded, “In the USA, Canelo is the biggest draw.”This should not be a shocker for the fans as the Mexican has a strong fan following in America.

Markowski added that Anthony Joshua is their most prominent star in the UK. And DAZN expects many fans to tune into their streaming platform for Joshua’s bout against Jermaine Franklin. Joshua will fight at the O2 arena on April 1. But the list doesn’t stop at Joshua and Canelo.

Markowski said, “AJ is 1, Canelo is 1, Katie Taylor is 1, and KSI is a different kind of 1.” KSI is a name on the list that might shock the fans. It seems like the YouTuber-turned-boxer has made his way into mainstream boxing and has his name echoed by professional boxers. Recently, DAZN faced criticism from users due to its unexpected surge in its subscription prices.
