Days After $21 Million Achievement, Terence Crawford Addresses His Name Being Echoed With Floyd Mayweather

Terence Crawford recently appeared on The Breakfast Club and spoke about his comparison with prime Floyd Mayweather. At once Terence Crawford declared that he respected his name being mentioned alongside Mayweather’s. “I respect it. I respect the hell out of Floyd,” told Crawford. Along these lines, Crawford, who would beat a prime Floyd Mayweather as per Tim Bradley, stated that he has looked up to Mayweather’s career since he was a little kid. In addition, ‘Bud’ even considered Mayweather a big gun who has paved the way for many fighters in the sport. Likewise, the 35-year-old admitted that he must always pay “homage” to ‘TBE’. “He’s been a fighter that I’ve looked up to, his whole career since I was a little kid,” declared ‘Bud’.

“He paved the way for a lot of us fighters. So, I gotta always pay homage to the OG,” Crawford continued. In this context, he announced that he felt great to have his name mentioned with the greats in the Welterweight division of boxing. “It’s great that my name is being mentioned with the greats now in the welterweight division like Floyd, Sugar Ray Leonard, Duran, and Tommy Hearn and those fighters,” the 40-0 boxer concluded saying.
