The 28-year-old hopped on social media a few hours ago to share the great news with his loyal fans.

Benavidez and his wife, Karina Silva, were parents to two adorable children—a boy Anthony Benavidez, who was born in September 2020. And daughter Khloe, who they just had in December last year. It appears the Benavidez household couldn’t wait to expand their happy family with the addition of one more member. And fans expressed their delight after the joyous news came to light!

Earlier today, David Benavidez took to Instagram to share a heartwarming family photo celebrating their new child’s gender reveal. Captioning the post, “We’re expecting our 3rd baby,” Benavidez encouraged fans to watch his latest YouTube video, where he and his wife, Karina, shared their excitement and revealed the baby’s gender.

In the video, Karina detailed how she discovered the news, stating, “I took a pregnancy test a couple of weeks ago. It came out positive, so we are expecting our third baby. We wanted to make this video for you guys to share our gender reveal.”

The scene then shifted to a serene beach, where the family’s special moment unfolded. With their two children beside them, the couple opted for a classic cake reveal—blue for a boy and pink for a girl. When they scooped into the cake with a couple of wine glasses, the inside revealed blue, confirming the couple was expecting a second boy.

Benavidez couldn’t hide his excitement, sharing, “I’m really happy. To be honest, I would have been happy with a girl too because I’m in love with my little baby Khloe. I think another girl would have been a good addition to the family.”

However, the champion boxer already seems to have big dreams for his growing family. “Now that we have the second boy, we could add two champions to the family,” said Benavidez. Fans quickly flooded the comment section with congratulatory messages, celebrating this joyful milestone alongside the Benavidez family.

With the big news out in the open, the celebrations seem to have begun in the comments. Oscar De La Hoya’s girlfriend, Holly Sonders, congratulated the couple, sharing the couple’s excitement. “Congratulations David and Karina. Excited for you,” Sonders wrote. Notably, the couple has yet to come up with a name for their son, or at least, they haven’t revealed it to the public. 

Another user sent their blessing to the new baby boy and his family. “Wow!! Congratulations and many blessings,” the user wrote. And this user wasn’t alone in their congratulatory message, as the Instagram post and YouTube video quickly raked in hundreds of similar messages for the couple.

The next user could not hold in their excitement. “Omg i’m so happy to see this! 🥹 ❤️ congratulations and many blessings! love you!!!,” the user wrote. Interestingly, the couple appears to be making an effort to stay more active on YouTube so fans can stay updated, leading up to the baby’s birth.

On a separate note, David Benavidez has a major fight against David Morrell coming up on February 1st, and the birth of their child could be a promising omen for even more good news.
