On May 8, Canelo Alvarez put on a clinical performance against the Brit Billy Joe Saunders. The latter, who was supposed to be the toughest opponent for the Mexican boxer, was totally outclassed. Also, with that win, Canelo has now set himself up for an undisputed super-middleweight clash with Caleb Plant.

The Plant vs Alvarez fight has already struck everyone’s attention, and many fighters have already given out their predictions for this fight. Recently, in an interview with Fight Hub TV, David Benavidez shed some light on this clash. He even gave out a shocking prediction for this fight.

“I think Canelo beats him easier than he beat Billy Joe Saunders, I think he’ll stop Caleb Plant with the body shot, to be honest. I don’t really feel like Caleb Plant can take body shots well. Canelo throws amazing body shots,” said Benavidez.
