It was rather an attack on America’s democratic values. Boxing icon Mike Tyson‘s daughter Milan has also uploaded an intriguing image along with an intriguing line regarding the matter amid all the online frenzy surrounding it. But keeping the chilling assassination attempt aside, it’s more of a playful jab for the online audience.

‘Iron Mike’ and Trump are long-time friends and there are several pictures of them together. Milan shared a vintage photo of her father with Trump in a now disappeared Instagram story, which bears a humorous reference to Trump’s ear being injured during his assassination attempt.

The former POTUS was attending a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, when shots were fired in an apparent effort to assassinate him. Luckily, the bullet just grazed Trump’s ear, and he swiftly ducked and took asylum behind the podium. Reportedly, Trump turned his head slightly seconds before the gunshot was released. Had he not taken that action, it could have seriously hurt him and possibly put his life in danger. Milan shared a post on her Instagram story by UFC fighter Paulo Costa, which shows her father and Trump posing for a picture and wrote, “Let’s be real my dad was a bigger threat”.

But why did Milan consider her father a bigger threat to Trump? Well, Tyson is known for his infamous fight when he bit off a chunk of Evander Holyfield’s ear inside a boxing ring. In reference to that, online users have created memes claiming that the bullet only slightly injured Trump’s ear. But with Tyson so near, there was an even greater risk that he would bite off a part of his ear.

The assassination attempt on Trump had become the biggest news topic worldwide. But now that he is safe and sound, he can resume getting ready for the forthcoming presidential race. Notably, ‘Iron Mike’ previously made a comment about Trump that makes a comparable distinction between the two.

Mike Tyson on Donald Trump: The White President treated as Black

Trump served as the 45th President of the United States from 2017 to 2021. He became a highly divisive figure during his administration, both in America and internationally. Many even called him a racist. Despite that, his old pal Mike Tyson had an interesting observation to make about how people treat Trump. During an interview with Semafor, Tyson said, “If I never saw Donald Trump and didn’t know he was white, I would think that he was Black”. 

Tyson further added, “The way they were treating him in the papers and in the press? Think about that, the way they treat him in court? That’s the way they did Black people”. Much like Tyson, Trump has other black friends who have unwavering faith in him. The 78-year-old believes, “They would not be with me for two minutes if they thought I was racist”.
