Joe Joyce is the new British, Commonwealth, and European heavyweight champion. The ‘Juggernaut’ beat Daniel ‘Dynamite’ Dubois via a count-out in the 10th round after 9 fantastic rounds of boxing. The two promised a blockbuster fight, and it is safe to say that they delivered.
Joyce used his experience to outbox the young fighter and, as predicted, gave him a complete boxing lesson. The two set the tone of the fight from the first moment itself when the 35-year-old came out and boxed from range, while the younger Dubois came to trade.

Joyce was on the receiving end of a lot of powerful punches from the 23-year-old; however, he stuck to his game-plan and eventually got the knockdown which led to the count-out.
‘The Juggernaut’ used his jab to great effect and constantly picked at Dubois’ left eye. This caused a swelling in the eye of the ‘Dynamite’ as early as the third round. Despite losing a few of the rounds in the middle, Joyce landed the jab accurately and thus kept Dubois at a safe distance throughout the fight. This resulted in the eye getting swollen to the extent that the 23-year-old could no longer see through it.
