Will Smith faced massive backlash from both fans and the film fraternity alike for his infamous slap at the 94th Academy Awards. Most recently, radio host Charlemagne The God opened up about the incident during a podcast episode with Logan Paul.

Charlemagne was talking at the ‘Impaulsive‘ podcast hosted by Paul. Notably, George Janko and Mike Majlak were also present as co-hosts.
In conversation, Majlak asked him if Smith should face repercussions for his actions. Charlemagne responded by saying, “I don’t think we are at a point where repercussions are not okay. Like what Will did is what he did. That’s a choice he made. You know I’m not gonna sit here and say whether it’s right or wrong. I don’t know whether it was right or wrong.”
He further added that he was horrified by Smith’s actions. Charlemagne said, “You ask me, I thought it was f*cked up because, I thought it was f*cked up just because, damn! it scared me a lot. Right, because that’s Will Smith. That’s the person that we’ve seen out here doing the work.”
Charlemagne also stated that while Smith is someone who strives to be at the highest level of consciousness spiritually and mentally. But sadly, he ended up snapping at the biggest night of his life.
Logan Paul capitalizes on the Will Smith slap incident
The businessman in Logan Paul could not resist capitalizing on the Will Smith-Chris Rock controversy. In fact, he used the incident as a vehicle to promote his hydration drink, Prime.

Paul tweeted a picture of the infamous incident. However, he also replaced Smith’s face with Prime, while Rock’s face was replaced with Gatorade. This was to portray Prime becoming the hydration drink of choice by slapping Gatorade off the shelves.
