Who will Gervonta Davis face next?
Davis is the WBA champion and was close to securing a fight against Ryan Garcia. However, the 22-year-old will instead fight Manny Pacquiao. This means Davis is now in search of a new opponent.
The lightweight division is one of the most exciting in the sport right now. However, the big fighters may already be occupied. Teofimo Lopez will fight either Devin Haney or George Kambosos Jr. Therefore, ‘Tank’ cannot try to get a fight against any of them.

However, former pound-for-pound king, Vasyl Lomachenko has shown his desire to fight the American. Moreover, this could be a perfect match since Lomachenko himself has just returned to the ring after a serious shoulder injury.
If Davis’ injury is not a serious one, it could set things up perfectly for the return of both fighters. Moreover, it would be a great fight for all involved. Davis would get a chance to prove his mettle, while Lomachenko can make his mark on the division again.
