Mike Tyson's training photo—Is this the beginning of the end for Jake Paul's boxing career?

If the comments on Mike Tyson‘s latest social media post are any indication, Jake Paul will be in serious trouble come November. The two are slated to lock horns on November 15th at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. However, a couple of months away from the cross-generational bout, a picture Iron Mike shared on Instagram seems to have sent fans into a nostalgia-fueled frenzy.

The duo was initially supposed to settle the debate on July 20th in the same venue, but Tyson’s ulcer flair-up during a cross-country flight pushed the fight back to November. He now claims to be in tip-top shape and ready to show ‘The Problem Child’ who the real problem is. So, turning to Instagram, Tyson shared this image.

Earlier today, the youngest heavyweight champion in history shared a striking image of himself, clad in a soaked T-shirt and boxing gloves, sweat dripping down his brow as he gazed intensely into the distance—a look that die-hard Tyson fans know all too well. It’s the kind of stare that signals something big is on the horizon. Tyson captioned the post with a simple but powerful message, “We win,” setting a motivational tone for what’s to come. Just a few hours after sharing the image, the post had already garnered more than 250K likes and thousands of comments. However, despite the excitement, some fans still remain concerned about Tyson’s health heading into the fight, especially given his age.

At 58, Tyson is set to face Paul, a 27-year-old opponent who is 31 years his junior and has a reputation for knocking out his rivals. However, here’s where things get wicked. The post seems to have swayed some opinions, as the reaction from fans has shifted to one of growing enthusiasm.

Even though there aren’t any titles on the line and it’s one of the more unusual fights, fans can’t wait to catch the action. Like this user, who is hell-bent on catching the fight live in Arlington. “I need to be at that fight champ @miketyson halla at me,” the user wrote. Given the buzz surrounding the bout and the electric atmosphere at the press conferences, it’s expected that the stadium will sell out.

Amid all this, Tyson’s business partner and CEO of Carma HoldCo., the parent company for Tyson 2.0, jumped in to share his grim prediction. Wilks wrote, “The end of Jake Paul 🪦——>.” If Iron Mike can summon the guy, who sent Marvis Frazier into the shadow realm within 30 seconds of the 1st round back in 1986, once again—he is golden.

Another user seemed eager to see Tyson teach ‘El Gallo’ a lesson in boxing. The user wrote, “Take him to school Mike 💪🏼.” Notably, Paul has only lost one fight in his career thus far, but the good news is that was against a boxer, Tommy Fury. Hopefully, Tyson’s extensive boxing career would help him do the same.

However, all these encouraging comments don’t mean everyone is on board with the fight. This user wrote, “I’m really sorry you too old for that 💔😢,” expressing their concern. Nobody wants to see their beloved idol lying unconscious on the canvas, especially if it’s due to a knockout shot from Jake Paul. However, the chances of that happening are slim. But the chances still exist nevertheless.

Even the next user wasn’t happy about the fight, but being a Tyson fan, the user could not help but show their support. “🔥I don’t like you’re doing this but get him king! ❤️🔥🙌,” the user commented. It’s widely speculated that Tyson took this bout for financial reasons, which reinforces this perspective.

The good news, at least for Mike Tyson, is the public perspective on his upcoming fight seems to be shifting. However, whether he can put Jake Paul in his place for daring to challenge the ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’ is yet to be seen. We would love to get your thoughts on the matter.
