The undefeated Gervonta Davis has done it again. Taking out Leo Santa Cruz in the sixth round via knockout, he is now the WBA lightweight and super featherweight champion of the world. However, ‘Tank’ had to bring out his best game to secure the win. The fight turned out to be extremely physical from the initial round, and both the boxers landed prominent shots on each other.
While Leo Santa Cruz secured a knockdown in the very first round, Davis got back on his feet to put on a show. However, that didn’t stop the Brooklyn native from offering all the action. He came up with the challenges and pressurized Davis for a long time. However, ‘Tank’ needed just one clean uppercut to claim the win amid the live audience.
