In 2017, in the ‘Money Fight’ Floyd Mayweather fought Conor McGregor and retired from professional boxing. With McGregor, then the face of UFC, by his side, Mayweather gained the PPV he needed before he retired and the perfect record in pro boxing. After the high voltage ‘Money Fight’, for McGregor nothing remained the same in the UFC. However, Mayweather began a new chapter in life.

While McGregor faced career losses that completely changed him, Mayweather focused on exhibition fights. He began with Tenshin Nasukawa in 2018. Then, in a chronological order fought Logan Paul, Don Moore, and Mikuru Asakura from Rizin. In a few days, Mayweather will head towards the fifth exhibition fight of his life.

Ahead of the upcoming Deji fight on November 13, DAZN Boxing revealed the top 5 gates of Mayweather’s career in pro boxing. According to the list, first is Manny Pacquiao, second is Conor McGregor, third is Canelo Alvarez, fourth is Oscar De La Hoya, and fifth is the first Marcos Maidana fight. YouTuber turned boxer turned wrestler Logan Paul is nowhere near to be seen.

Mayweather fought Logan Paul last year on June 6. The fight took place at the Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens in Florida – ‘The Maverick’ vs. ‘TBE’. According to updates, Mayweather vs. Logan Paul generated a total of one million pay-per-view buys. The bout captured $50 million worth of income through PPV.

Logan Paul surprised Floyd Mayweather in their last fight
Although Paul was initially a content creator on YouTube who gained popularity through his vines, he fought Mayweather till the end of the fight. Doing so, he surprised Mayweather with his capabilities inside the ring. Acknowledging Paul’s spirit and talents, Mayweather said, “He’s better than I thought he was. I was surprised by him tonight. Good work. Good little guy.”
