“Complete Mismatch” on Ryan Garcia vs. Gervonta Davis Undercard Horrifies Fans as David Morrell Makes Yamaguchi Falcao Kiss the Canvas

The co-main event of Ryan Garcia vs. Gervonta Davis, between David Morrell and Yamaguchi Falco, just got over. And the boxing fans were blessed by the sight of the first-round KO in the fight, as David Morrell secured his win with an amazing right hook, right at Falcao’s chin. Nobody could believe it, and many even called it a mismatch as a boxer of Morrell’s caliber shouldn’t have been going against a boxer like Yamaguchi Falcao. The KO was instantly reported by Michael Benson on Twitter, where the fans expressed their honest opinions about the fight.

Now during the fight, Falcao was stunned earlier by a brutal right hook on the face, but then he managed to earn some time by stalling around the ring. But then Morrell unleashed that brutal right hook again which finally got him the stoppage. This fight was quite important for both fighters, as the WBA Super Middleweight title was on the line.

Morrell defended his championship title quite well. But the fans did not think Falcao was the right opponent for the level where Morrel is at right now. Although David Morrell vs. Yamaguchi Falcao’s stats were showcasing that Falcao had more experience than Morrell. But still, a lot of boxing fans believed it to be an unfair fight.
