Ahead of the bout with Dillian Whyte, Paris Fury, the wife of Tyson Fury suggested that if the ‘AJ’ fight ever came along, ‘The Gypsy King’ would probably take it. In her opinion, he could not resist it. True to her words, Fury, who came out of retirement after Oleksandr Usyk beat Anthony Joshua for the second time, has now publicly declared a potential match with Joshua in September 2023.
Tyson Fury, who had been looking for an opponent to return to the ring after the Derek Chisora trilogy fight, publicly spoke about a “draft contract” he recently sent to ‘AJ’. While fans meditated on Fury against either Jon Jones or Francis Ngannou, the boxer surprised everyone by calling out Joshua in public. As per Fury’s recent post, ‘AJ’ and ‘The Gypsy King’ are likely to lock horns at Wembley Stadium in September 2023.
