Taking to X, the ‘GWOAT’ reported that she almost knocked the living daylights out of an Uber driver in New York City. “Boy I almost just kicked this Uber drive ass no cap! NYC got some rude ass drivers,” wrote Claressa Shields who attended Haney vs. Garcia as a host commentator for DAZN.
However, since a male sparring partner Arturs Ahmetovs had previously floored Claressa Shields in the past, as was evident from a controversial clip that was shared by Ahmetovs a few months ago, several fans refused to believe in her words.
In this connection, 2ToneDaSupastar, known for his podcasts, was reminded of the track that Shields released dissing Alycia Baumgardner lately. Wondering how Shields would have fought the Uber driver in question, he asked sarcastically if Shields had “put her music on the aux cord“.
You put your music on the aux cord?

On the other hand, a fan taunted Shields, saying that she would have lost it against the driver had she fought him.

Meanwhile, one echoed 2ToneDaSupastar and said, “You were not gonna do anything.”

Similarly, one was not buying that Claressa Shields would beat up an Uber driver in NYC. “No you didn’t,” they wrote.

However, a fan quite generously added, in her support, “My money’s on you champ!!”

Finally, one wrote that Claressa Shields was averse to taking disrespect.

Not one to take the disrespect lying down, Shields replied to 2ToneDaSupastar for making fun of her music, while also adding an update.
‘GWOAT’ corrects herself and blasts podcast host
An hour after the post about the Uber driver, Claressa Shields returned to X and corrected herself. As per the current undisputed Middleweight champion, it was not actually an Uber driver. Instead, the person in question worked for Lyft. “My bad this is Lyft!” she wrote.

Anyway, despite everything, Shields is proud of Ryan Garcia and the surprising performance he displayed in Brooklyn. “He looked too strong, too big. And he started hurting Devin from the first round. Ryan definitely came to fight,” said Shields later, speaking to FightHype. According to her, the extra pounds Garcia carried definitely helped ‘KingRy’ “tremendously” against Devin Haney.
Anyway, what do you make of Claressa Shields’ encounter with a Lyft after Garcia vs. Haney? Let us know in the comments below.
