Last year, in a bold statement, the current undisputed Super-Featherweight champion Alycia Baumgardner called out the current undisputed Middleweight champion Claressa Shields. Despite fighting at 129½ lbs, Baumgardner challenged Shields to a fight at 147 lbs. As a result, she startled Shields and the boxing world.

However, Baumgardner insisted on facing ‘T-Rex’ in the ring. During an Instagram live, Alycia Baumgardner declared that size did not matter to her. Subsequently, ‘The Bomb’ claimed she could out-skill Claressa in the ring. “You don’t have to worry about the size, girl. Let’s make the fight happen,” Alycia Baumgardner told Claressa Shields.

In her response to ‘The Bomb’, Claressa Shields said she would fight Alycia Baumgardner “at 147 or 154 or 160 or 168 long as it’s a belt or multiple belts on the line.” Later, Shields’ promoter Dmitry Salita claimed that she made an offer to Baumgardner for a potential fight at 154 lbs. However, with regret, Baumgardner refused. Anyway, recently, after Shields and Baumgardner bantered on social media, ‘T-Rex’ dropped a diss track titled “Yeah Glo!” on ‘The Bomb’.

At this, a boxing fan claimed that Claressa Shields was a better rapper than Ice Spice, Sexy Red, and Cardi B. In addition, they claimed GWOAT would give the 12-time Grammy-nominated artist, Nicki Minaj a “run for her money“. At this, as the statement came to Shields’ notice, she said, “I got sexy red & ice spice in a headlock for sure!” “But don’t ever come for Cardi b & Nicki Minaj! Those girls would rap me under the table,” she added.

While Claressa Shields bows down to Nicki Minaj and Grammy-winning artist Cardi B, it is worth exploring the artist who inspires ‘T-Rex’ the most.

Although Claressa Shields admires the artistry of Nicky Minaj and Cardi B, she finds her inspiration in the 32-time Grammy-winning artist, Beyoncé. On that note, at the Super Bowl LVIII Radio Row, when Shields was asked about the woman who inspired her the most, she said, “The woman who inspires Claressa Shields the most is Beyoncé. Have I told Beyoncé that? No.” Along these lines, Shields hoped she could be like Beyoncé one day.

In her opinion, Beyoncé is great at whatever she does. “I mean you’re great at dancing, singing, rapping. Just being a great human being,” said Shields. In addition, she admired how Beyoncé carried herself as “the most unbothered woman in the world.” As a result, Shields concluded by saying, “I love you. You’re inspirational. Keep up the great work.” Anyway, what do you have to say about Claressa Shields now bowing down to Nicki Minaj and Cardi B? Do you think she can take on them as a rapper?
