The much-anticipated battle between Jake Paul and UFC legend Anderson Silva is just a day away. Notably, not only the headliner, but even the undercards have some interesting match-ups. One of them would be Chris Avila vs. Mikhail Varshavski.

Mikhail Varshavski, who is popularly known as ‘Dr. Mike Varshavski’ would be making his professional debut this weekend. He will be seen facing UFC veteran Chris Avila on Paul vs. Silva’s undercard.
Ahead of his clash, Dr. Mike stated, “I’m not doing this to gain some popularity. I’m not making a buck because I’m donating my entire fighter pay to the Harlem Boys & Girls Club. It’s strictly because I love this. I wanted to challenge myself. I wanted to live to the top of my potential.”

Dr. Mike’s journey in boxing began almost a decade ago when he lost his mother tragically to leukemia. Devastated by the loss, he turned to boxing for refuge and hasn’t looked back since.
Chris Avila vs. Michail Varshavski: Stats
Dr. Mike was last inside the boxing ring when he defeated iDubbbz in an exhibition bout. The 32-year-old will now make his professional boxing debut against Avila. Varshavski stands tall at 6’3” (191 cm) and fights from the orthodox stance. He is a practicing physician, and a YouTuber, who is worth $10 million.

Chris Avila (29), on the other hand, is younger than his opponent but has more fighting experience. The Stockton native stands at 5’10” ( 178 cm) and has been a Bellator UFC fighter in the past. He has a reach of 184 cm and holds an 8-9-0 MMA record. Avila turned into a professional boxer in 2014 and has a 1-1-0 record.

The two will be seen going against each other on October 29th, at the Gila River Arena in Arizona. The Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva undercard also has the following fights.
