Hasim Rahman Jr.‘s attempts to boost pedal crossover boxer Bryce Hall‘s chances seemingly sparked disagreement among many fans and followers. The son of former heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman was present in Nashville, Tennessee. The ‘Music City’ played host to Misfit Boxings X Series 13, headlined by the lightweight fight between English YouTuber Fox Townley, AKA ‘FoxTheG‘, and American social media influencer Stuart Kellogg, AKA ‘Evil Hero‘.

The main card saw a Cruiserweight fight between actor Taylor Holder and DWG Earth. The former, who reportedly joined the fight on short notice, won the five-rounder via technical knockout (second round). However, as the clip shared by Hasim Rahman Jr. shows, dramatic events unfolded during the break-minute at Holder’s corner.

Hasim Rahman’s son tweeted early today, “I got @BryceHall #Misfits013 @MisfitsBoxing.” It’s not clear whether it’s Hasim Rahman Jr. who is doing the talking and recording. Nevertheless, the fifteen-second clip shows Taylor Holder sitting on the stool in his allotted corner. As he is attended to by his team members, he is approached from the ringside. “Hey Taylor, hey Taylor,” the voice said. When the actor-content creator took notice, the voice stated, “I ain’t going to lie, bro. Bryce Hall will beat you a**.” Looking unperturbed, Holder replied, “Yeah, ok, bud.” The voice continued, “Nah, for real. Right here, beat your a** for real.

When Taylor Holder shot back, the voice replied, “You good, you trash though.” As some of the fans might know, both Bryce Hall and Taylor Holder have been having a verbal spat off late. The duo even crossed paths before the event. Had it not been for the security detail, both would have had a go at each other. During the post-fight interview, when asked for a tentative fight with Hall, Taylor Holder made his intentions clear.

However, as it appears, for Hasim Rahman Jr., sharing the clip turned out to be pretty detrimental. Most of the users, perhaps under the impression that he was the one speaking and recording the footage, castigated him for deliberately disturbing a fighter in between bouts.

Don’t disturb a fighter mid-fight.

For instance, this user pointed out matter-of-factly that what he did wasn’t fair. After all, Taylor Holder won the fight that he joined on such short notice.

The next user went to the extent of calling Rahman Jr. a ‘cheerleader’. Whereas, his father had been a world heavyweight champion at one point in time.

The next follower also complained that it wasn’t just when Taylor Holder was in the middle of a bout.

The next user went unsparing. While lambasting Hasim Rahman Jr. for an unsuccessful boxing career, the user wondered how he could disturb a fighter who joined on such short notice.

Then another unhappy user reminded everyone how Hasim Rahman lost his last fight to a football player and then fought a backyard match against a Kanye West impersonator.

The prevailing sentiment clearly conveyed disappointment with the act of bothering a boxer during a fight.

The 32-year-old son of Hasim Rahman hasn’t had much success in professional boxing. He lost the fights that happened in 2022, especially the second one, in which he conceded to Greg Hardy, a former NFL defensive end. Then on March 16, this year, in Tampa, Florida, he knocked out Fake Kanye West in an exhibition.
