Julio Cesar Chavez Jr is considered the one carrying his father’s name and legacy forward in the sport of boxing. The former WBC middleweight champion is known for his ability to not give up and his relentless attitude inside the boxing ring. He has faced many struggles of his own. The son of one of the greatest professional boxers has struggled with substance abuse for a long time.

Of late, a boxing reporter recalled the story of  ‘La Leyenda Continua’ when he was able to knock out about five people while he was admitted to drug rehabilitation. However, it should be noted that it remains unclear as to when this story dates back to.

The time 20 people jumped Julio Cesar Chavez Jr

Marcus Villegas, the founder of the YouTube Boxing channel FightHub TV shared a rather unbelievable story of how Chavez Jr jumped by about 20 guys during his time at the centre.

Remembering the story, Villegas said, “there’s a story that Chavez said on a podcast that they did an intervention on him, and uh they pretty much kidnapped him took him to a drug rehab center and they locked him up with others.” He further discussed how Chavez Jr had lost it and took it out on the rest of the people there. “He flipped out and started disrespecting all the people in there .”

Villegas further talked about how the Mexican boxer was able to knockout five people. Though he is known for his ferocious temperament inside the ring, his boxing skills cannot be questioned. Canelo Alvarez recently struck beef with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
