Following this, The Gypsy King called out Joshua in a video posted on social media. He stated that he would be giving ‘AJ’ an opportunity to bounce back after a devastating loss by facing him. “I need to do this just in case. Anthony Joshua, I know you’ve just lost a fight to Usyk and you bounce at the momentum and I’d like to give you an opportunity to fight me for the WBC heavyweight championship of the world and the lineal championship,” said Fury.

Joshua’s promoter and Matchroom CEO Eddie Hearn then revealed that they would be interested in making this fight if Fury was serious. The Gypsy King responded, claiming that he indeed was serious about this matchup.

This fight was one that fans had long been waiting for. However, they fired back at Fury for calling out Joshua, claiming that this was one of Fury’s many antics.

Fans call out Tyson Fury

One fan told Fury to make a fair offer to Joshua. He stated that The Gypsy King would divide the revenue in an 80-20 split, with Joshua eventually rejecting the offer.

Another fan stated that Fury kept on changing his mind and pointed out the time he offered to fight Joshua for free.

Moreover, one fan stated that Fury would blame everything on AJ if his 80-20 split offer gets rejected.

Another fan asked Fury if he was still willing to do the fight for free or was now chasing money.

Another fan took shots at Fury for previously offering to fight for free. He stated that a 60-40 split should not bother Fury if he was willing to fight for free.

Lastly, one fan rightly pointed out the challenges in making such a fight actually happen. He stated that Fury knew this and was just doing this to pressure Usyk into fighting him in December.

Over the past year, fans believe that Fury has certainly not been the most reliable person in boxing. Earlier, this year he announced his retirement from boxing only to call out his former opponent, Dereck Chisora. Moreover, just after Usyk’s victory, he called him out for an undisputed championship fight.

It seems that he now wants to face off against his fellow countryman to put an end to his iconic career. However, only time will tell if this will come true.
