Carlos Adames’ victory streak: Setting the stage for a Canelo Alvarez showdown?

Carlos Adames, fresh off a resounding victory against Julian Williams, isn’t just stopping at in-ring triumphs. He’s also making waves on social media, setting the stage for potential future bouts. First and foremost, Adames addressed his critics, saying, “People have been sending me negative comments, but I don’t give a f*ck about them. I’m focused on my work and I don’t need anybody to believe in me. If y’all don’t want to watch my fight then don’t watch it, but you will see the news and press. I have hurt ‘Big champions’…”

Transitioning from addressing naysayers, he then underlined his boxing credentials. “In sparring, because I am a big 160, I beat Derivanchenko, who put GGG and Munguia in bad condition. I also beat Montiel, who almost knocked Charlo out.”

Moving forward, Adames expressed his frustration with top fighters seemingly avoiding him. “I want to fight, but what can I do? Charlo runs from me, Munguia runs from me. The best run from me with cheap excuses.”

Ending his Twitter tirade with a direct challenge, he declared, “I’ll fight anyone y’all want. Just give me a name & a contract, and I’ll sign it right away. I won’t run like Jermell. I have more merit than a lot of Canelo’s opponents. I WON’T RUN.”

It’s evident Adames is raring to go. After his recent victory against Williams and his bold proclamations on Twitter, the boxing community awaits the next move in this unfolding drama. Carlos Adames’s bold statements, both inside and outside the ring, have undoubtedly cemented his position as a force to be reckoned with in the boxing arena. From taking on boxing legends to challenging an entire fanbase, his audacity is palpable.
