The modern era heavyweight division is filled with some sublime boxing talents. With an amalgamation of prodigies and veterans, the big men’s division seems to be at its peak. In that exuberant list, Charles Martin ranks as one true hotshot, who in no time has become a fan favorite.
The American boxer is known for putting up his stern statements, coupled with mocking his adversaries. Recently, he went all out against the bigwigs of his division and revealed why he doesn’t respect them.
Speaking to Behind The Gloves, he said, “There’s a lot of really good young lions coming up in the heavyweight division. But man, I’m done being respectful, you know. I’m done with you know, these motherf*****s be ducking and dodging and doing the most too man, these top heavyweights, so I don’t go no f****n respect for them.”

In his above statement, Martin stayed firm with his words and he gave out the real reason why he does not have any respect for his divisional fighters. A few days back, he engaged in a back and forth with the WBC interim champ, Dillian Whyte.
Martin expressed his interest in fighting ‘The Body Snatcher’. However, the latter scoffed over the same and didn’t really entertain ‘Prince Charles’.

Martin has a strong wish to fight for the heavyweight gold and he’s eager to get his hands on someone who’s in the title mix. That said, he thought of staging his next bout with Whyte.

Is Charles Martin capable of ruling the heavyweight landscape?
Martin has hung around the big men’s division for a while. Despite that, he has never really gotten a chance to prove his worth against the biggest names.
