Is the chaos at the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight a reflection of today's boxing culture?

While the fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson has kept the entropy of the fight fans pretty high, several disruptions gave rise to chaos, both inside and outside the AT&T Stadium, Texas. ‘The Baddest Man On The Planet’ made his stance known to the world as he landed a tight slap on ‘The Problem Child’s face during their face-off. But little did he know that it was the beginning of a drama that would soon engulf their fight.

Right after the co-main event greatly entertained the squared ring fans, several brawls erupted throughout the arena. Needless to say, the security team had quite a bit of trouble regaining control of the situation. On top of that, unrest kept on rising among the fans watching the event from the comfort of their homes.

RAWSALERTS took to X and shared a few visuals of the fights. The caption read, “Reports of Multiple Fights are erupting inside AT&T Stadium During Highly Anticipated Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson Boxing Match.” The visuals showed a couple of women grappling on the ground, while a few men threw fists at each other. No doubt, it was chaos all around.

While the event was free for the subscribers, major disruptions in the Netflix livestream created quite an uproar in the fighting community. UFC star Stephen Thompson was among many who lashed out at the streaming platform, issuing the following on X (formerly Twitter). “My Netflix for the Paul vs Tyson fight is streaming at a solid 480p right now…. I feel like I’m watching live-action Minecraft… anyone else or just me[?]”, ‘Wonderboy’ wrote.

Even Jonathan Owens, the Chicago Bears star, was furious at the streaming platform. Taking to his Instagram stories, the NFL star wrote “Yall gotta get right.” The fight had 70,000 fans in attendance, however with Netflix streaming the event to all 280 million subscribers at once, it was only expected that the stream quality would drop from time to time.
