In 2015, the 20-time Grammy-nominated artist Snoop Dogg launched his own cannabis brand named Leafs. Despite initial struggles, with Leafs, Snoop started his journey in Denver, Colorado and eventually distributed his commodities in Canada with the help of Canopy Growth Corporation. With years of expertise in cannabis, “The Next Episode” hitmaker, figuratively speaking, dropped his products like hot in markets and subsequently made a fortune out of Leafs.
In this context, there is a rivalry between Mike Tyson and Snoop Dogg in the sense that they have their respective cannabis brands. While Snoop Dogg has his Leafs, the former Heavyweight champion of the world has Tyson 2.0 which is likely to make $160 Million in fiscal year 2023. Despite the rivalry, there is mutual respect between Tyson and the artist. In an exclusive with EssentiallySports, the CEO of Tyson 2.0 spoke about a potential collaboration with the celebrated rapper.

Despite there being competition, it must be mentioned that Snoop Dogg initially enlightened Mike Tyson on marijuana strains when ‘Kid Dynamite’ planned to grow a new cannabis farm in California. On the other hand, Tyson’s team recently gifted the “Gin and Juice” hitmaker a Tyson 2.0 custom ear chain as a token of appreciation. In light of their friendship, Adam Wilks declared that they were “always open to discussion with Snoop and his team“. In this context, he even commented on their relationship with Snoop’s team.
“Lovely guys over there, Kevin and Snoop. Yeah, it has been great people. We will continue on the path together, both of us running cannabis products for talents and icons. Yeah, maybe we’ll have a collab in the future,” added Wilks. Before concluding, the CEO expressed that they wanted to keep their friendship strong.
