In October last year, Canelo Alvarez launched his tequila line called VMC or Viva Mexico Carbones. According to Canelo, the VMC drinks, which have three distinct flavors, pay tribute to Alvarez’s origin. In Alvarez’s opinion, his tequila line not only helps him assert that he is unique but also celebrates the strength that unites the Mexican people.
Recently, with his Undisputed Super Middleweight title on the line, Canelo Alvarez shared the ring with Jermell Charlo. With outstanding performance, the Mexican fighter defeated Charlo to register his third successful undisputed defense in the sport. In the wake of his latest victory over Charlo, in an unexpected turn of events Alvarez recently crashed into two live reporters who wanted to taste VMC. By and by the brief clip caught Leonard Ellerbe’s attention and the CEO of Mayweather Promotions soon took to X and shared it.

Canelo Alvarez gives a chilled response to reporters tasting VMC for the first time
According to Ellerbe, with his appearance, Canelo “killed it“. Anyway, as per the video, Cynthia Conte and Jeandra LeBeauf are the two reporters who wanted to try Canelo’s VMC. While a live audience watched them, Conte looked at the camera and introduced the drinks. With her colleague by her side, she said, “This is Viva Mexico Cabrones. This is Paloma and it has tequila in it and sparkle wine. This is Margarita. And Jamaica. We have not tasted it yet. I promise I have not.”

At this, Jaendra asked the viewers to “go and tag Canelo and also find the social media for Viva Mexico Cabrones.” However, to their surprise, Canelo entered the scene. Making out the situation, he announced how he preferred the VMC. “I always have a cooler, like a little ice bar. So, you’re fine,” told Canelo. After Canelo, who would overpower Terence Crawford, left, Conte grabbed herself a cup of ice. Soon, they tasted the drink and were fascinated.
