A few weeks back, Ryan Garcia announced a switch in trainers as he left Eddy Reynoso for Joe Goossen. The internet star was all over the headlines for his upcoming fight. But this announcement became a highlight all of a sudden, giving the fans a lot of points to talk about.

Garcia revealed Reynoso didn’t have time to train him and eventually he came up to this harsh decision. However, the p4p biggie and Reynoso’s best fighter, Canelo Alvarez, didn’t enjoy ‘King Ry’s comments. As a result, he launched an attack on the young gun.

Speaking to Es News, he said, “A lot of fighters come to the gym, and really good fighters and he come all the time. You come today, and train 20 mins and then go, and then you don’t come 4 days or 3 days, and you, next day you say, ey I come at 12 and you come at 2.”

In response, Garcia hit out at big brother Canelo and shared his candid notions on Twitter.

“Canelo doesn’t know the facts, The first camp I had with eddy went great then everything went bad he only showed up two weeks before fonseca fight and that’s when i first asked my manager to talk to him about finding a new trainer. Vergil Ortiz left bc eddy never showed,” he added.

Ryan Garcia has a fight lined up for April 9 and he’s looped in Goossen to train him. Also, he left Reynoso’s team after five training camps. Irrespective of that, Garcia still has respect for the elite trainer in Reynoso. But his equation seems to be different with Canelo Alvarez.
