P4P King Canelo Alvarez needs to add the IBF belt in his collection to become the undisputed unified super middleweight champion of the world. Following a dominant win over Billy Joe Saunders, Alvarez now boasts the WBA, WBO, WBC, and Ring titles, aiming to face Caleb Plant ahead in a unification matchup.
That said, Caleb Plant is an undefeated champion and has held the IBF strap since January 2019. So, he might appear to have legitimate chances against Alvarez on the papers. However, Canelo Alvarez has appeared invincible in recent times and even Caleb Plant’s supporter Roland Romero has hesitated to envision ‘Sweet Hands’; beating him.
The lightweight boxer connected with Fight Hub to give his opinion on several fights in several weight classes. So, he couldn’t miss out to talk about the ongoing title ride at 168 lbs.

Like I said, may he [Caleb Plant] maybe able to make things difficult. He is a great boxer. I think Plant does way better than ‘Boo Boo’ does against Canelo.”

Caleb Plant’s undefeated record doesn’t do any favor on him in the fight. Alvarez has vanquished two unbeaten boxers in recent times, with the latest win over Billy Joe Saunders. Former WBO titlist Saunders had more fighting experience than Plant and looked promising in the initial rounds.
However, it didn’t seem beneficial as the P4P King could have a crack at his rival in round eight Canelo Alvarez planted some brutal shots and broke Saunders’ orbital bone to claim the win. Hence, Caleb Plant will have to bring a lot more to the table. Given the unpredictability of boxing, he will have his chances to win. But beating Canelo Alvarez wouldn’t be a walk in the ark at this point.
